Currently researching and sourcing the many lines of the Shockey family descended from Johann Christoffel Schacke, along with his earlier ancestors and other historically documented “Shockey” families.

Aiming to publish in 2030 to be an update and correction to the following sets:

  • Shockey History & Genealogy, 2 volumes (U.S.A., Congressional Library No. 82-136313: HBP, 1981) by Ralph and Marie Shockey. Known as the “red set.”
  • The Shockey Chronicles: Biographical Annals of The Shockey Family, 2 volumes (Baltimore, Maryland: Gateway Press, Inc., 1986) by Lt. Col. Donald E. Shockey A., US Ret. and Thelma I. (Peterson) Shockey. Known as the “green set.”
